John Burnette

John Burnette is an Americana folk artist from Charlotte, North Carolina.

The unexpected loss of his father led John to music which eventually culminated in his eponymous debut album.

In “Pale and Blue” — a multidimensional jam off this same album — John takes us on a wonderful journey through the cosmos.

His poignant vocals paired with his intricate guitar work set the cosmic stage for a timeless work of art. It’s simply a sublime jam. Sagan would be proud.

“Traveling back, made a call to my mother just to tell her I was on my way
Well I hit a wormhole in the bottom of my soul and got there 20 years too late
I try to remember the day in December, the last time that I saw her face
A bright light and a winter and a crash, bang, whimper, we’re gone.”
