pj sparkles is the brainchild of California-based artist Megan Liscomb.
Liscomb spent her early years singing bluegrass with her father’s band. However, she has since departed from this traditional form of music by infusing dream-pop and shoegaze into her folk roots.
“Big Star” is a dreamy track off Liscomb’s debut album, Neon.
This is some sad stuff…but oh so beautiful.

“come on monster tell me
all the stars are made of poison
when you’re hotter than fire
you can do anything
when you’re a star
they let you do anything”
