Throwback Thursday: The Wanderer

“The Wanderer” was a song written by Ernie Maresca and then recorded by Dion in 1961.

“I roam from town to town, I go through life without a care, and I’m as happy as a clown with my two fists of iron, but I’m going nowhere” seems to encapsulate the free, yet empty life of a wandering vagabond.

Throughout all my travels, I always seem to end up where a started — in a desolate place wondering if I’m going anywhere at all.

Life is like a highway, and one has no choice but to keep moving on. Just don’t veer off the road.

Peace and love from Lima, Peru.
